Questions, bugs, or a race we don't have yet — email [email protected] and a human (Alex) replies.
Open the app and tap Connect Strava. You'll approve access on Strava's own page, then land back in PaceCast while your run history loads. The first prediction appears in about a minute; older activities keep loading in the background. We request read access to your activities so we can fit your pace–duration curve — that's the whole product.
You can revoke our access at any time from strava.com/settings/apps. To also erase what we've computed, use My races → Your data → Delete my data in the app — that deletes everything we hold and revokes our Strava access in one action.
My race isn't in the list. Email us the race name and date and we'll add it — usually same week.
My prediction looks wrong. Check that your past races are confirmed in the app: that's how we learn how much faster you race than you train. Treadmill runs and activities without GPS are excluded, since their speed isn't calibrated. If it still looks off, email us — that feedback is how the model improves.
Why is the range so wide? Because your data says so. A wide band is an honest one — it narrows as you add hard efforts, confirm past races, and as race day brings a real weather forecast instead of climate averages.
The watch file won't import. Download the .FIT and import it via Garmin Connect on the web, then sync your watch. Tell us your watch model if it fails.
Your Strava data is shown only to you, never sold, and never used to train models for other athletes. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
